I remember this time last year very fondly. Just getting comfortable with working in the dark room, processing film, making fine art prints...ok so maybe they weren't that fine yet. But grand finale to my first semester in the photo department was definitely the portfolio review for Design Lab 1. Today, all of the current first year students got to experience their very first portfolio review, and while running around finishing up projects of my own before the semester ends, I got to bear witness to some really amazing work from these students.
