Thursday night (May 26th), I went to the Blind Tiger in Greensboro to see Now You See them, a fantastic band from Asheville, NC. This is their leading lady Dulci Ellenberger, master of guitar, melodica, keyboard, and more!
This is a close friend of mine, who asked me to do some portraits of her to send to a modeling agency. It was a fairly casual shoot in her front yard, but I think these came out pretty lovely.
These shots were taken May 17th, 2011, at the Neighborhood Theater in Charlotte, NC. Xavier Rudd is a soulful Australian surf/roots artist skilled with a variety of instruments including guitar, shaker, didgeridoo, Weissenborn slide guitar, tongue drum, stomp box, djembe, harmonica, and slide banjo.
